What a shared snapshot contains
A snapshot contains aggregate counts, row and column labels, the visible table settings, statistical warnings, and provenance you choose to include. It does not contain source rows, the original filename, or a server-side project record.
The payload lives in the URL fragment, so the aggregate data is not sent in the HTTP request for the snapshot route. Shared pages are view-only and explicitly marked as immutable, with no expiry or revocation control in this version.
Designed for honest review
The viewer keeps effect size, significance, warnings, missing-value context, and weighting context beside the table. That makes a shared result easier to check than a screenshot while preserving the boundary between an aggregate result and the underlying data.

Does sharing upload my spreadsheet?
No. Source rows are parsed and analyzed in your browser. A shared snapshot contains aggregate counts and the context you choose to include, not the original rows or filename.
Can someone edit a shared snapshot?
The shared view itself is immutable and view-only. Recipients can open the aggregate table in the calculator to explore edits, or run their own spreadsheet in the workspace.
Can I share a contingency table or cite a shared crosstab?
Yes. You can share a contingency table as an immutable aggregate snapshot, and the viewer provides a citation that includes the snapshot title, version, crosstabs.com, and the immutable link.
Can I revoke a snapshot link?
Not in this version. Anyone with the complete link can read it, so only include aggregate data you are comfortable distributing.
